1. Photoshop Smart Objects

The Photoshop integration which was begun in Dreamweaver CS3 has been enhanced in CS4 to offer via the use of Adobe’s Smart Objects technology. A Photoshop file can be imported directly into Dreamweaver and will automatically come in as a smart object.

Photoshop images are can be inserted using the same techniques as inserting any other image file: Insert - Image; dragging from the Files panel; dragging from the Assets panel; or using the Insert toolbar. A Photoshop-style Optimise window automatically appears and you can choose the settings appropriate for that particular image usually GIF, JPEG or PNG.

Once the image has been imported, an icon is displayed in the upper left of the image indicating that it is a smart object. Also, in the Property Inspector, the location of the original PSD file is shown in a box marked “Original”.

2. Related Files

HTML is a notoriously sparse environment which relies on files created with other technogies to add functionality to web pages. Typical examples of related files are server-side includes, CSS, JavaScript and XML. Dreamweaver now includes a feature called “Related Files” which enables you to edit the content of such files, without having to open them separately, and to instantly see the effect of your changes on the main file.

The fact that the image is a smart object means that if we resize it in Dreamweaver, it will automatically be re-optimised and a new version of the image will be generated with the new dimensions. (In previous versions, resizing an image would mean that the browser was responsible for resizing leading to poor image quality.

3. Creating CSS styles in the Property Inspector

In Dreamweaver CS4, the Property Inspector contains buttons which allow you to switch between HTML and CSS options. When working in the CSS options, you can now target a specific CSS rule before choosing an attribute or, if necessary, create a new rule.

Profitable Niche Markets, Anybody?

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Are you looking for profitable niche markets? So am I.

Constantly. I’m always on the lookout.

So you can probably imagine how thrilled I was to find 5 short videos by James Jones where he shows how he finds great little market niches - and by that we mean profitable niches where there is little competition.

What that means is… you could easily set up a web page that is optimized for the right keywords. James shows he finds the right keywords - so easy. Within days, that nice Mr Google starts sending you a flow of laser-targeted traffic.

Still interested?

Yep, I thought you would be.

NOW LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THESE FREE VIDEOS

They demonstrate 5 different ways you can find profitable internet niches that very few others have seen|most others have not picked up on yet.

So what is a niche?

A niche, by definition, is a small slice of a much larger market. Because niches are small (sometimes tiny), many marketers won’t bother with them. That means there is money available to those who find these niches and create niche mini sites for them.

In fact, you could be the ONLY person who creates a webpage for that multi-word key phrase. If so, then you would get ALL the traffic from those particular Google searches. Lucky you!

By using your site to promote an affiliate product from CJ.com or ClickBank.com or your favorite affiliate program, you can turn that traffic into cashflow.

The fact is… the Micro Niche Finder keyword research tool can easily put you onto a never-ending supply of attractive markets.

Here are examples of the good niche markets that can be found in the first video.

** lookup a phone number, lookup area code, lookup address by phone number,

You’ll find these next two in the 2nd video, which shows how to create single page niche mini sites to promote affiliate products.

** world of warcraft jewelcrafting guide, world of warcraft jewelcrafting

Then in the 3rd video (which is about creating residual revenue through AdSense sites), he finds these…

** teak patio set, teak patio sets, teak bedroom furniture… and many more.

In the 5th video (it’s about Squidoo), you will see how he found these good niches:

** download psp games for free, hoodia rapid gels, hoodia walmart, hoodia high blood pressure, hoodia results

NOTE: Even in markets like Hoodia (which many people think of as over-saturated), you can still find good market niches.

Monday, November 10th, 2008

In today’s age of information technology, DVDs have become the most viable device for storing huge amounts of data. More Master Resell Rights Sales In 5 Quick Stages

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Did you know that selling products with master resale rights is a fantastic way to earn an online income? It lets you sell hot selling items, without knowing how to create webpages or products, and yet make a substantial income.

First, let’s define master resell rights. It means you can not only sell a product, but also give your customers the right to sell the product as well. You may also sell it without resell rights, and this is often done to allow selling it at two price points - with and without resell rights. If you get transferable master resell rights, then the ability to pass master resell rights can be passed on down the chain of customers.

An excellent master resale rights package really depends on which market you are in, and what your skill level is. If it is an e-book, then it might be quite simple to start selling, but if you get rights to a script or service, then it can be quite involved to handle customer support issues.

For most people, a hot selling master resell rights is one that is easy to maintain, easy to sell, and easy to promote. If you can sell it and make good profits, then you have yourself a winner. The product should not be too old, or too widely marketed online already.

Do you know what the best price is to sell a master resell rights package? It really depends on the remaining four things discussed below. For example, the potential benefit the product offers may greatly impact the price. You can imagine something that turns back the aging clock, or packs a million dollars into your bank account, and how these might be priced differently than a 3 page guide showing you how to synch two ipods on a single computer.

Make sure the stuff you sell with rights is targeting the same market. When you do this, you can sell a lot of stuff to your customers, and not get them confused with things they have no interest in. Keep it focused, and your marketing will be much more successful.

Products with exclusive benefits, or are brand new on the market can fetch much higher profits than poorly developed products that are old.

Another key factor is whether or not you can set your own selling price for your master resell rights packages. If some products demand you sell at an artificially high price, then you will be handicapped in your ability to market effectively.

Getting products with no limits or minimums can be dangerous as well, since some marketers will offer it without making a profit, and that greatly devalues the products so that no one sells much.

If the packages you acquire have tools to help you sell and promote, it is a huge advantage. Not only do you save a lot of time, but you also get stuff that works right away, that you can apply and see good results.

Speed of implementation is another key factor in how much money you will make. The faster you move and do the effective steps to market your new product, the more money you will make. This means if you have sales pages already made, and articles prepared that you can distribute online, you’ll be able to take orders faster, and build your website reputation quicker while becoming the recognized authority for that product.

Another advantage of buying something with resell rights is the extra stuff you get, like download pages, graphics, sales pages, and other tools to help you make profits quickly.

And finally, I would like to mention bonuses. If you sell something online, consider adding a related product or service as a free bonus, and you will get customers seeing your offer as more attractive, and they will buy from you more often. It’s a proven way to boost profits.

Some of the ways to know how to copy protected DVDs

Sunday, November 9th, 2008

DVDs are by far the most popular device to store data, especially huge amounts of data such as movies. The manufacturers of DVDs were aware of the advances in the field of information technology. Therefore, in order to protect the data stored in the DVDs they created protective measures and incorporated them in the DVDs. The movie DVDs are generally copyrighted DVDs. This was necessary so that no pirated copy can be made out it. The producers and the manufacturers use CCS keys to protect the content of the disc from duplication by some unauthorized party. However, not all users of DVDs are pirates; they want to make copies as back up DVDs in case of loss or damage to the original one.

Now, there are various ways by which you can make copies of the protected and copyrighted DVDs. However, you will have to learn the process to copy protected DVDs, which is much easier than most people think. For copying protected DVDs, you will need some shareware and freeware that will help you in copying protected DVDs.

Thus, the first and most important part of copying protected DVDs is to have an efficient software program, such as CCS. This software program is capable of copying the protected DVDs no matter what the protective measures built in the DVD. Alternatively, you can check DVD43, which is a free program for decrypting and duplicating the protected DVDs. It has been used for copying different kinds of movies and its performance has been very good. Version 3.9.0 comes free of cost; and if you want to know how to copy protected DVDs, you can even download the link from the site.

Moreover, the installation process of this program is quite easy. The program works in the background to decrypt the movies on a fly. Whenever you want to use the decrypted file, simply put in the DVD whose copy you want to make and let DVD43 detect it. Finally, you begin with copying the DVD with your software. Therefore, it is very easy to understand how to copy protected DVDs.

Apart from the DVD43, another program that will make you understand how to copy protected DVDS is DVD Shrink. Actually, it is a freeware, which can be used along with other software programs for DVD burning. One of the latest versions of this freeware is 3.2.0.15. Moreover, if you like to have a clear idea about how to copy protected DVDs, you can download the program from the site; it is free of cost. Actually, DVD Shrink is more or less like DVD43 decrypter.

The DVD decrypter is the software program that can not only make copies of protected DVDs but can also record the images to the disc. This software too is easily available and can be downloaded from the website free of cost.

This clickbank blog article will review commission blueprint. You can click here to get more in-depth information about clickbank’s commission blueprint program.

What lead me to clickbank’s commission blueprint was it’s super high gravity rating. What is clickbank’s gravity rating? It is simply a formula for rating the sales recently and commission blueprint is off the charts. The gravity rating for commission blueprint is an astounding above 400!

I was intrigued by the incredible gravity rating and thought I’d review what commission blueprint is and what it can do for the average or newbie internet marketer. It’s main claim is to help us generate extreme clickbank profits. Commission blueprint next claim is no experience required.

All I could say is wow because the money you can make with clickbank can be incredible if you follow a system that works. The two guys who created commission junction said they used commission blueprint’s “Insider” Affiliate Strategy Manipulates Google To Generate $109,151 In 30 Days… From Just ONE Clickbank Product! That’s a successful campaign my friends.

The other main thing I look for in a product to market is what do the experts say about it. I can say with a resounding yes that some of the top internet marketers in the world endorse commisssion blueprint.

My final thought this clickbank program has lots of potential. I recommend commssion blueprint because of the step by step training videos that guides you all the way. If this system earned thousands for these guys and they want us to duplicate their success. I say go for it.

Microsoft Excel In-house Training Checklist

Friday, November 7th, 2008

Which topics should be covered

As to the size of the class, somewhere between five and ten people can usually be accommodating in a training room with reasonable facilities. You will need to ensure that you have a conference or training room equipped with a computer for each delegate and a projector which can be connected to a computer used by the trainer to demonstrate each technique.

One feature that you should almost never omit in an Excel training course is formulas and functions. Functions are the lifeblood of Microsoft Excel. They allow the program to carry out complex calculations and produce useful results in a variety of different areas including statistics, engineering and the financial arena. Be sure to give the training company a good idea of the type of data your people work with and the information they need to obtain. This will enable the trainer to include coverage of functions which can help increase your productivity and get the most out of Excel.

Class sizes

One of the main benefits offered by on-site training courses is that you can focus on those topics which are most relevant to your organisations. A good technique is to ask the company providing the training for a list of topics they cover on their standard courses then to provide them with a guide as to which features you feel are important, less important or can be omitted all together.

Which topics should be covered

Who should attend

The obvious answer to this question may seem to be “the version that we are currently using”. However, because of the significant difference between Excel 2007 and previous versions, if you are currently using Excel 2003 but plan to upgrade within the next year or so, it is definitely worth making sure you upgrade before getting your staff trained.

10 Creative Photo Ideas

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

1. Watch films. Hard work I know. Films have an infinite amounts of ideas for inspiration with different concepts for lighting and composition. With 30 images per second, you’ll have some great ideas in no time.

2. Enter photography contests online. Contests often give you topics or themes which can give you inspiration when you don’t know what to shoot.

3. Watch Movies. It is another source of inspiration, as they are nothing more than still images shown to you at 29.97 frames a second. Lots of ideas for concepts, lighting, messages, or just plain pretty images.

4. Shoot with style. Pick anything around the house and shoot it just to see how it turns out. You’ll see that how you shoot something is far more important than what. With digital cameras, there’s no excuse not to!

5. Learn about art history. Visit art exhibitions featuring photography and discover how different people have portrayed the world. Reading about photography will put your work in context.

6. Watch movies. Movies can be extremely innovative in experimenting with lighting and concepts. So learn from them. After all, movies are just lots of photographs shown in quick succession.

7. Surf the internet. There are tons of images on the web to give you inspiration. You can use Stumbleupon to let the internet find images for you. Check out Flickr too for some great concepts. The World Wide Web is your oyster!

8. Carry your camera everywhere. Take at least one photo a day so you can keep a record of your life in a whole new way.

9. Shoot in different conditions. Shoot at different times of day for different lighting effects and atmosphere. Shoot in different weather for subtle changes of tone.

10. Take a photo a day and see your life in a whole new way. Remember that a camera that you don’t have with you is a camera that’s not going to take any pictures. So try to have your camera on you as often as possible.

Top 3 New Features in InDesign CS4

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

1. Improved Links panel

InDesign’s Links panel keeps track of files imported into your document and indicates the current status of linked files: for example, showing you if a file has been modified or is missing. InDesign CS4 includes considerable enhancements to this useful utility. For a start, there is now a thumbnail next to each item listed in the Links panel and the page number shown next to each item is a clickable link which takes you straight to the image.

Creating interactive buttons has been made easier than ever. Instead of a button tool, CS4 now has a Buttons panel which also includes button states. Having converted an element to a button, the Buttons panel allows you to add “rollover” and “click” states and assign actions.

The Link Info window is also now integrated into the Links panel and is now much more interactive. You simply double-click an image to display it and it now contains buttons which allow you to move from image to image. Add to this the ability to customise which columns of information appear in both the Links panel and the Link Info panel and we have a really impressive tool for keeping track of imported images.

2. Improved Links panel

Adobe have responded to the growing need for designers to create electronic documents by significantly enhancing the tools available for adding interactivity to InDesign files. The Hyperlinks panel now contains a URL field, enabling you to create a link by simply highlighting some text and entering the required URL.

Another welcome addition is the ability to add page transitions. Also, having added interactivity to a layout, you can now export to Flash (.swf) files as well as PDF.
